Hotel Arrangements

A block of rooms has been set aside at the Marriot Spring Hill Suites in downtown Lawrence. This is a new hotel that recently opened and features riverview rooms and if you act quickly, high speed Internet access via Ethernet right in the room! The rate is 79.00 (plus tax) for a room with a king sized bed and 89.00 (plus tax) per night for a larger room with two queen beds. You will be reimbursed for your stay by the Collaborative Exchange group through the pt3ce.net website.

Driving Instructions

Getting from the airport to Lawrence:

You will need to rent a car to get from the airport to Lawrence. Lawrence is about a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from the airport. Please look at the maps for further assistance: Airport to Lawrence and Interstate to Hotel.

From the Airport take the I-29 N/US-71 N ramp.

Merge onto I-29 N. and stay in the right lane, you won't be on I-29 long.

Take the I-435 S exit, exit number 17, towards TOPEKA.

Merge onto I-435 S.

Take the I-70/KANSAS TPKE exit, exit number 12, towards TOPEKA/ST LOUIS. Stay to the RIGHT to make sure you are on the I-70 W/KANSAS TPKE WEST going towards TOPEKA

Merge onto I-70 W and get ready to stop after a few miles to get a toll entry ticket.

Take the exit, exit number 204, towards US-24/EAST LAWRENCE/US-59.

Stay straight to go onto ENTRANCE RD.

Turn LEFT onto US-40/US-59.
