Cohort Planning Resources
The Cohort Planning Document is a model for School of Education faculty to use as they develop a cohort.
This Sample of a Cohort Plan can be used as an example of a cohort plan.
One of the ways that cohort/TIG relationship is facilitated is through a required weekly meeting. This form is used to help find a meeting time that allows all of the students to meet at the same time. This is an important part of the Learning Generation model because we find that when students work together in cross-cohort collaboration they form a support and extension group that significantly raises their technology skills and their understanding of technology integration issues.
Each cohort that is formed receives a directory on the LearnGen server, which is used by that cohort to store files, and to create a cohort web space that is used to make public (through links from the Learning Generation web site) the plans, membership, and progress of the cohort. Each student involved with a cohort receives a user account with access privileges to their cohort's directory.
