Inspiration provides hundreds of shapes and images that can be used to create a variety of visual displays, images, charts, and other projects. Using Inspiration may help students communicate ideas, and conceptualize educational topics and processes more effectively.
Skill Practice: Create an organization chart using Inspiration
Step 1: Open

Step 2: Activate "Symbol Palette" - Go to View > Symbol Palette. The Symbol Palette will appear on screen, providing hundreds of different images and shapes to use.
Step 3: Browse the "Symbol Palette" - Browse the Symbol palette using
for the type of shape you want to use for your organizational chart, such as

Step 4: Add Text to the Shape - Double-click on the shape so that the inside perimeter of the box is highlighted in black, such as

Step 5: Add a Second box - Browse the Symbol Palette for the type of box or shape you want to add to your organizational chart. Move your cursor to the position on the screen you want to add the second box and "left click". A "+" will appear on the screen. Then "click" on the symbol you want to add. It will appear where the "+" was on your screen.
Step 6: Link two boxes - 1) Left "click" on
