Create an Image Map Assignment

Requirements: Create an image map with links to other files or web sites.


Basic Assignment Option:

Step 1: Choose a .jpeg or .gif file (image, picture, graphic) and open the file in Dreamweaver.
Step 2: Identify 2 web addresses that you would like to link to your image file.
Step 3: Use Dreamweaver’s Image Map function to create 2 "hotspots" that link to the file.
Step 4: Upload your finished "product", html code, and any associated files to your web space.
Step 5: Email the URL (web address) of your finished product to the instructor by the due date.
